Flavia Hirte is a freelance flutist who specializes in historical performance practice. For her, this means above all variety and always discovering something new – in music and in the history and development of the flute. In addition to actively making music, she is also passionate about teaching and is constantly learning from her students. Especially the very youngest. One of her favorite quotes from a 7 year old is, “La patience, c’est la clef de tout”.
Besides music, she is ‘slightly’ infatuated with cats and finds the most relaxation while riding her bike or by the sea.
