To celebrate 1700 years of Jewish life in Germany, the Kölner Akademie presents a program with sacred and secular music composers of the 19th century, which is rarely heard today. The sacred texts from both Jewish and Christian sources, thus connecting these two religions, while the secular texts were written by well-known poets of the 19th century.
