Great news!
Michael Alexander Willens has been selected to receive the 2026 Telemann Prize. The Cologne-based conductor will be honored by the city of Magdeburg on March 14, Georg Philipp Telemann’s birthday. Mayor Simone Borris will present the award at the Old Town Hall. Since 1987, Magdeburg has celebrated exceptional contributions to Telemann’s legacy with this annual prize.
