Anna Jane Lester works as violinist, violist, graphic designer and illustrator. Originally from Jacksonville (Florida, USA), she came to the Netherlands via Nashville (Tennessee), New York City, and the Blue Ridge Mountains where she worked as a whitewater rafting guide on the Chattooga River. In addition to her work as a baroque musician and founding member of string quartet the Butter Quartet, she is passionate about Waffle House, hot sauces, American old time music, whitewater kayaking, and hiking in the backcountry.
