Antonio De Sarlo moved from the shadow of Brunelleschi’s Florentine miracle, The dome of his hometown’s cathedral, to the sharp and mighty twin pinnacles of his adoptive city, Cologne, where he came to complete his studies years ago. Having both cities a special place in his heart, the violinist firmly believes in art’s role as a universal language, whose words are not to be understood through logic, but through intuition and emotion. Besides music and philosophy, in both of which he holds academic degrees, travelling is his main interest. When not travelling in person, cooking ethnic food is his main key to unlock distant and fascinating worlds.
