The Dutch violinist Daniel is living in Lucerne, Switzerland, since 2018. Growing up in a real musical family, Daniel plays next to his great love for baroque violin also in different orchestras on his modern violin, like the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and the Festival Strings Lucerne. With these orchestras Daniel is on tour a lot over the whole world. His move to Switzerland let’s him enjoy the beautiful nature, he likes to hike in the mountains, riding on his Mountainbike in the forests and jogging alongside the lake. If you don’t find him outside exploring nature, he is probably tasting beers, which is his other big interest. Chamber music is Daniel’s absolute big passion and likes to play in small ensembles. This makes him a perfect member to the Kölner Akademie!
