Soprano

Singing has been part of my life since I can remember. Nobody in my family is a musician except me, but I sang folk songs up and down with my mother and grandfather from my earliest childhood. When, at the age of four, I first came into contact with classical music through Mozart’s Magic Flute, I was literally enchanted. It was clear to me: I’m going to be Pamina when I grow up!

In addition to my love of classical music, I really enjoy letting loose in my garden in Oldenburg – where I have been engaged at the Staatstheater since 2019. There is nothing better than home-grown and harvested vegetables from my own garden. It goes without saying that therefore cooking, baking and especially eating are other great passions of mine. If the Oldenburg region were not quite so flat, I would certainly go hiking more often, because I love the mountains. But there is a lot of water in the north and the North Sea is virtually on the doorstep, which I also like quite a bit as a water rat.
