Mario played the oboe for a bit and studied mathematics, then discovered the baroque oboe. Now he’s doing math just for fun (who doesn’t love puzzles!) and making a living playing the oboe. He has been playing with the Kölner Akademie since the summer of 2019. He lives in Den Haag, loves to cook and bake breads and has an unhealthy interest in reed-making. Apart from that, he speaks a little Polish, is trying to improve his knowledge of French, loves to hike and has a soft spot for obscure and obsolete programming languages.
