When I am not playing historical or modern clarinet or spend time with my students at the Robert Schumann conservatory in Düsseldorf I enjoy spending time in my garden.
I love traveling to Korea where the family of my wife lives.
Sometimes I have the possibility to give concerts or masterclasses there (I had the the honour to teach at the Seoul National university).
I am trying to learn more Korean but I am still not at the point where I think I should be after so many years.
I like jogging and good wine to relax (good combination…)
I live in Dortmund, Germany, together with my wife who is also musician (concertmaster) at the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra and my two cats.
