Born as the son of two violinists, Rafael’s passion for music started from an early age. After studying piano with Alfredo Perl, he wanted to be an orchestra musician and studied percussion with a focus on timpani. Playing a lot of chamber music with piano and working in many different orchestras as a timpanist gives the perfect musical mix for him.
