Which instrument do you play at the Kölner Akademie and when did you start playing?
I have been playing double bass with Kölner Akademie since 2021.
What brought you to the Kölner Akademie?
David Sinclair, who plays with the KA, is my professor in Switzerland and he introduced me to Michael.
In which other orchestras and ensembles do you play?
When I was in Venezuela I played in the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, and here in Europe I play as an invited player in some orchestral projects, such as Cappella Mediterranea among others.
What do you think distinguishes your work with the Kölner Akademie?
I used to play in the Simon Bolivar Baroque Orchestra, which gave me some experience about early music, style and gut strings, and I really enjoy it.
What do you like to do when you are not playing music?
When I do not play music, I use to draw, paint or play football.
